I Remember …

I remember December 12, 2009
I remember the adrenaline rushing through my body
I remember the facials, encouraging chants, and the excitement
I remember all the intense practices that just about done me in
I remember all the fans going insane as soon as we stepped on the floor
I remember the longest three minutes of my life that was over in a matter of seconds
I remember the struggling and pushing myself until my break point
I remember working as a team who wanted nothing but to win
I remember the exact feeling of all the hard work paying off
I remember the loud music that got us pumped
I remember praying and singing and hoping to hit it perfectly
I remember achieving our highest goal
I remember jumping up and down, screaming and crying when our name was announced
I remember winning a state title
I remember the feeling of becoming a 2009 State Champion!
