Coalfield Writers Approved Lesson Plan FormsLeaders who are creating lesson plans for use in any student creative writing programs should use the template below. (There is also a template explanation). Be sure to save the new file with a unique name (i.e., summer camp lesson 1 tracyb) and email it to the appropriate coordinator as a file attachment. Do not paste the final lesson into the body of an email. Contact the co-director of youth with any questions regarding planning and dates for specific programs. Creative Writing Camp Lesson Template Round Up 2010Goldilocks Vamp CampThese lesson plans were created for use in Vamp Camp summer creative writing camp for middle schools, held June 2010. The camp was under the leadership of Pam Roeher, Linda McKnight, Bob Miller and Jason Browning. Monday Morning Diversity University DocumentsDiversity University was a summer creative writing program for middle school students. The goal of the program was to explore diverse cultures and learn how differences among individuals, cultures, states, countries, and groups make our world a richer, stronger place. Camp was under the direction of Mary Hawkins. China Flag Celebrating Rural PoetryMarshall University Writing Project's satellite, Coalfield Writers, was one of a few sites selected to participate in the Celebrating Rural Poetry program. The lesson plans below were created by TC leaders of the site, working with a local teacher (not a TC). They were distributed to all secondary Language Arts teachers in Logan, Mingo, Lincoln and Boone Counties, along with the invitation for students to participate in the student contest portion of the program.
